My journey with flowers began over ten years ago, a passion I decided to transform into a dedicated flower farm three years ago. It all bloomed with dahlias, and they remain a cornerstone of my offerings. I also grow a vibrant variety from seed, including snapdragons, strawflowers, statice, cosmos, and many others! There’s nothing more satisfying than watching life emerge—starting with seeds, tubers, bulbs, and corms on a simple shelf in my basement, and finally flourishing across the two acres we call home by the LaHave River.

This farm is a solo labor of love. I've been transforming sod into rich, workable soil using sheer determination, mostly hand tools and layers of rich material to feed the life of the earth. My husband occasionally gets 'roped in' to help with the sod remover or a fence build! I am so proud of the progress made here, and deeply grateful to every customer across the South Shore of Nova Scotia who has purchased my flowers, and to all who have bought dahlia tubers nationwide.
